As today there are so many options available with regards to styles and mediums,
and with new materials and processes frequently being introduced to the art marked,
artists are constantly challenged to learn new methods and techniques to express and develop themselves.
But, even though most art materials can be bought ready and prepared from the shop, some artist will always choose to make their own tools.
Paint can be created by mixing natural pigments with a base material,
canvas and boards can be created and prepared with wood and fabric,
and paint materials can be applied using fingers,
sticks or simply pored onto the surface without any use of a brush or palette knife.
